Flat-Shad baits are hand
carved from 100% natural basswood with an almost "natural buoyancy". This allows the bait to "rebound" off of stumps and other structures in a lifelike manner. This series of baits establishes a new standard of excellence in lure finish and technology. The finish bends and amplifies light, enhancing the lure's brilliance, and creates a rainbow of hues with each motion. We use only quality components such as Lexan or circuit board for our bills (all our bills are punched and assembled by hand), VMC hooks and American-made split rings.
